DAY 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, gateway to your thrilling Kenya safari; transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to acclimate to your new time zone and prepare for the African adventure that awaits you. Depending on what time you arrive, ever wanted to try ostrich or crocodile? Enjoy a meal at the famous African buffet restaurant called Carnivores, where meat is served from Masai spears until you can eat no more and raise your flag in surrender! (This can be your welcoming party or a farewell).

DAY 2 - Masai Mara

After breakfast, set off nice on a safari through the lush Great Rift Valley to the magical Masai Mara National Reserve in the southwest corner of Kenya, renowned for its spectacular game viewing. During the annual Great Migration, this is the setting for the thunderous display of thousands of wildebeest crossing the river while canny crocodiles lie in wait. Lunch at the camp, before going out on the afternoon game drive. The vast savannahs are a stunning backdrop to the diverse and abundant wildlife dominated by lions, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as antelopes, gazelles and hippos

DAY 3 - Explore Masai Mara

A fabulous sunrise experience! Arise before dawn to participate in the optional hot air balloon safari. Take off as you view the breathtaking sunrise over the Masai Mara. Drift above the beautiful landscape, watching wild game roam the vast plains below. The finale is a sumptuous champagne breakfast before setting out on your morning game drive. In the afternoon, enjoy your final game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge, or join the optional visit to a Maasai Village for a glimpse into the lives of this semi-nomadic tribe. Discover how the tribe lives; learn about their customs, ceremonies and rites of passage then join their local dance. Explore the handicraft market before returning to your camp in time for dinner

DAY 4 - Masai Mara – Nairobi, Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre

Bid farewell to the Mara and return to Nairobi. In the afternoon, travel towards the Ngong Hills to visit the Karen Blixen Museum, once the farm house of the prominent author of “Out of Africa”. Continue to the Giraffe Centre, where you hand feed the Rothschild giraffes from an elevated feeding platform and learn more about the successful breeding program and extensive conservation efforts. You will then arrive back mid-late afternoon and you have the evening free to relax and reflect on the incredible experiences you have had over the last few days.

DAY 5 - Depart Kenya, Arrive in Tanzania

Ready for a little more ink in your passport? Grab your bags and get ready to check another country off your bucket list. You make your way to Arusha. It is here that you will prepare to explore Tanzania taste. Arusha is a busy, bustling town with WI-fi, coffee shops, banks and many other modern amenities. You will stay here for overnight.

DAY 6 - Through the Great Rift Valley

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, world-famous for its nimble blue monkeys, elephants, bright pink-hued flamingos and tree climbing lions. More than 400 fauna species live here, along with an abundance of bird life that makes it a haven for bird watchers. The afternoon is at leisure to rest and enjoy the amenities of the lodge. This evening, savor dinner with your fellow travelers

DAY 7 - Indulge in Baobab Capital of the World

Set out this morning to spot the flocks of flamingos, herons and pelicans that gather on the lakeshore as well as Sykes’ monkeys, olive baboons and bushbuck. Midday finds you gazing across the Tarangire National Park, the “Baobab Capital of the World”. More than 3,500 resident elephants that call Tarangire home year-round. Wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and antelopes are also migrating from the surrounding areas for only water source within 1,600 square miles of protected wildlife area. Birds are equally abundant, with over 550 recorded species. It is truly a favorite place to be for wildlife...and therefore, for humans!

DAY 8 - Onwards to Africa’s Garden of Eden

Explore the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Africa’s “Garden of Eden”. Stop for a stunning vista overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken, unfolded caldera in the world. The vast 300 square kilometers crater stretches out in front of you and it’s not until you spot the barely discernible grey speck of an elephant that you truly grasp its scale. Among the thousands of species in the park, you may encounter zebra, giraffe, buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard, hippopotamus just to name but a few. Each season offers a different highlight. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this astonishing setting before you ascend to the crater rim and return to the lodge. At dinner tonight, celebrate your newfound friends.

DAY 9 - Caving in Serengeti

This morning we drive to the central Serengeti, a place that needs no introduction. The word “Serengeti” means “Endless plains.

DAY 10 - Explore Serengeti National Park

You will wake to the call of birds, or perhaps the howl of monkeys, or the roar of a lion. The fresh air and sounds of the wild will be all around you. Choose to spend the full day photographing and observing far away from the camp. Enjoy the increased activity of the predators. After these extensive game runs in the late evening, return to relax at the lodge before dinner

DAY 11- Another Day on Safari in the Serengeti

Your final morning game driving is spent inside Serengeti itself - a good place to spot black rhinoceros, elephant and lions. This afternoon, Lunch will be a real treat. Return to Arusha and get a chance to experience some of the activities around the town you may have missed first time around.

DAY 12 -Arusha - Zanzibar

After breakfast, catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival at the hotel and get settled in, you will enjoy a dhow cruise and get glimpse of the beautiful sunset in the Indian Ocean. You will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 13 - Explore Stone Town; Visit a Spice Plantation (Zanzibar)

This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of Stone Town, famous for its Swahili architecture, a maze of narrow alleyways, ornate wooden doors, and many historical buildings. Then, drive into the picturesque countryside to visit one of the many spice plantations to soak up the heady aromas of vanilla, cloves, cardamom, and myriad of other spices. Clove trees were introduced in Zanzibar in 1818 and formed the main trade for the island, becoming known as the 'gold' of Zanzibar. Stop for a traditional lunch in a local village before continuing to the east coast also will enjoy some music from the local music school.

DAY 14 - Day at Leisure

No accommodation is provided for tonight, but this can be arranged when you book this trip. Every experience is unique and you will never know what’s in store for you until you arrive.
