DAY 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, gateway to your thrilling Kenya safari; transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to acclimate to your new time zone and prepare for the African adventure that awaits you. Depending on what time you arrive, ever wanted to try ostrich or crocodile? Enjoy a meal at the famous African buffet restaurant called Carnivores, where meat is served from Masai spears until you can eat no more and raise your flag in surrender! (This can be your welcoming party or a farewell).

DAY 2 - Transfer to the Mara North Conservancy

After hearty breakfast, we meet our guide and fellow passengers and set off our six hour transfer to the Kicheche Mara Camp in the Mara North Conservancy. Upon arrival we have time to settle into our luxury camp overlooking the Olare Orok Stream. Various animals frequently visit the camp’s environs so our safari experience may start right from the tent porch. We will go on our first game drive this afternoon.

DAY 3 - Days spent on morning and afternoon game drives looking for the area's prolific wildlife.

A fabulous sunrise experience! This day is spent exploring the Mara North Conservancy in search of game. The verdant plains host a vibrant array of game such as gazelles, impala, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and eland. Never far away are the predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena. You may come across giraffe or elephant stripping the trees of vegetation, hippos and crocodiles lazing in the river or warthogs with their tails in the air. Generally we head out on game drives twice a day, in the early morning and late afternoon. Game drives don’t have a fixed schedule or itinerary and will vary depending on the animals encountered.

DAY 4 - Return to Nairobi then, Out of Africa

Depending on time and schedules we hope to have a final game walk this morning before heading back towards Nairobi (six hours). In the afternoon, travel towards the Ngong Hills to visit the Karen Blixen Museum, once the farm house of the prominent author of Out of Africa. Continue to the Giraffe Centre, where you hand feed the Rothschild giraffes from an elevated feeding platform and learn more about the successful breeding program and extensive conservation efforts. Thereafter, we’ll escort you to the international airport for your onward journey. Every experience is unique and you will never know what’s in store for you until you arrive.
