DAY 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi, gateway to your thrilling Kenya safari; transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to acclimate to your new time zone and prepare for the African adventure that awaits you. Depending on what time you arrive, ever wanted to try ostrich or crocodile? Enjoy a meal at the famous African buffet restaurant called Carnivores, where meat is served from Masai spears until you can eat no more and raise your flag in surrender! (This can be your welcoming party or a farewell).

DAY 2 - Fly to the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro

Under the gaze of Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is hailed as world’s best up close views of free-ranging elephants... and that is exactly what you’ll do with your safari guides. Enjoy a safari en route to the sustainable safari lodge, set within view of Mount Kilimanjaro—the world’s highest freestanding peak. After lunch and time to settle into your tent, set out on an afternoon safari, on the lookout for cheetahs, lions, zebras, and other creatures scattered across the endless savanna, the emphasis here is on a distinctive safari experience that is both fun and intellectually stimulating.

DAY 3 - Discover Amboseli National Park

Begin your day with breakfast in the bush and wind down with classic sundowners. Visit the Elephant Research Project, home to the longest running study of wild elephants in the world. Learn about elephant behavior while seeking out resident herds. As we travel across the grasslands, keep an eye out for the savanna’s smaller creatures, including some of the more than 400 bird species that have been identified here—from superb starlings to grey crowned cranes.

DAY 4 - Amazing Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Fly to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, edged at Kenya’s isolated Laikipia Plateau, 62,000 acres of golden savanna dotted with iconic umbrella thorn trees on the northern flanks of Mount Kenya. Considered a model in the conservation field, this healthy wildlife habitat is home to a number of rare species, including the reticulated giraffe, the dazzling Grevy’s zebra, and African wild dogs. Lewa and the neighboring Borana Conservancy also harbor roughly 15 percent of Kenya’s entire rhino population. Settle into your tented camp; then set out on safari to track countless other creatures, and cap off your day sipping sundowners on the savanna.

DAY 5 - Explore Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

If you wish, rise at daybreak for a horseback rides and camel treks as well as birding walk, this place is home to more than 350 bird species. See Lewa from a different perspective on a thrilling bushwalk with your native Samburu safari guides. Tread in the tracks of lions, rhinos, and leopards and learn to identify local flora. Later, meet with members of Lewa’s award-winning security team, whose effective patrol the reserve ensuring that not a single rhino has been poached in the past three years (to date). If you wish, join the team and their highly effective tracking dogs on a simulated patrol of the conservancy, this allows you to see and appreciate the land through the eyes of the indigenous and nomadic Samburu people.

DAY 6 - Amazing hanging bridge

After breakfast, choose an excursion: Venture into the Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve and traverse hanging bridges strung through the canopy for a chance to spot black-and-white colobus monkeys swinging among the trees; then take a refreshing swim beneath a waterfall. Or delve into Samburu culture during a village visit, and see how traditional dwellings are constructed. This evening, enjoy another safari, followed by a festive dinner in the bush.

DAY 7 - Fly to Masai Mara

Take a final safari in Lewa en route to the airstrip, and then fly to the fabled Masai Mara National Reserve. The paradise is one of the few places in Africa where big game still roams in the same super-abundance that existed a century ago. To ensure the best safari experience, you’ll enjoy three nights at the exclusive andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp. DAY 8 - Epic Masai Mara

With its undisturbed panoramas of rolling savannah punctuated by the iconic silhouette of acacia trees, the Maasai Mara is ravishing in its wild beauty and acclaimed as one of the richest wildlife habitats on Earth dominated by elephants, buffalo, rhinos, antelopes, gazelles as well as their stealthy predators—at one of their most active times of the day. Glimpse large pods of hippos submerged up to their nostrils in the Mara River and crocodiles sunbathing on the shore. Then set out on an evening safari along the shores of the Mara River.

DAY 9 - Explore Masai Mara

A fabulous sunrise experience! Thrill to adrenaline-pumping safari and participate in the optional hot air balloon. Take off as you view the breathtaking sunrise over the Masai Mara. Drift above the beautiful landscape, watching wild game roam the vast plains below. The finale is a sumptuous champagne breakfast before setting out on your morning game drive. In the afternoon, enjoy your final game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge, or join the optional visit to a Maasai Village for a glimpse into the lives of this semi-nomadic tribe. Discover how the tribe lives; learn about their customs, ceremonies and rites of passage then join their local dance. Explore the handicraft market before returning to your camp in time for dinner

DAY 10 - Out of Africa

Fly back to Nairobi and upon your touch down; Visit the Sheldrick animal orphanage. Enjoy the opportunity to shadow the center's caretakers and get up close to the elephants during their afternoon feeding. Proceed to Karen Blixen Museum, once the farm house of the prominent author of “Out of Africa”. Continue to the Giraffe Centre, where you hand feed the Rothschild giraffes from an elevated feeding platform and learn more about the successful breeding program and extensive conservation efforts.
